Q. What are the benefits to students?
A: By completing a Pathway in Energy, Education, Healthcare, or Welding, students graduate with valuable skills and credentials that prepare them to enter high-demand careers or get a head start on college. Through partnerships with neighboring districts, we are able to expand opportunities and provide students with access to programs that open doors for their future.
Q: Which districts are a part of the PBIZ?
A: The PBIZ is comprised of four independent school districts: Crane, Grandfalls-Royalty, and McCamey.
Q. How does the PBIZ work?
A: By teaming up together, we are able to offer MORE options to students. Kids from one district are able to take certain classes at the other districts. By pooling our resources, we can offer our kids more options to help them graduate career and college-ready.
Q: Will my child have to miss other classes? What about football and band?
A: Campus counselors are prepared to work with your child’s schedule so they do not have to miss other classes or extracurricular activities.

Q. What courses are currently offered?
A. The Inspire Next Academy, hosted at Grandfalls-Royalty ISD, is a four-course pathway taken throughout a student’s high school career. The program prepares students to graduate ready to work as a Teaching Aide, pursue an Associate’s degree, or continue into a teacher education program at a four-year university. All courses are offered as dual credit through Odessa College, allowing students to earn college credits while in high school—saving both time and money.
The Future Med Academy, hosted at McCamey ISD, offers students from participating districts the opportunity to explore careers in the medical field. By completing a four-course sequence, students can graduate with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, providing them with a direct pathway into the healthcare workforce or a strong foundation for further medical studies.
The Spark Up Academy is a four-year program hosted at Grandfalls-Royalty ISD and Crane ISD. Through dual-credit welding courses, students from participating districts gain hands-on training and industry-based certifications, including a Welding Level 1 certificate. Graduates are prepared to enter the workforce directly in this high-demand field or continue advancing their technical skills.
The Future Flow Academy is a four-year program hosted at McCamey ISD. Open to students from participating districts, the program provides a comprehensive introduction to the oil and gas industry, helping students build knowledge, skills, and career awareness across the full spectrum of the field.
