Lorraine Perryman
Lorraine Perryman is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Perryman Group. A professional public relations consultant and community volunteer, Lorraine is well known in the Permian Basin and throughout Texas as an advocate for public education and several other causes. Lorraine is a graduate of Odessa High School and attended Odessa College before attending the University of Texas at Austin where she majored in Journalism. She is a former Mayor of Odessa and continues to be active in leadership roles on both the city and state level. Lorraine and her husband, Dr. Ray Perryman, have five children and 3 grandchildren.
Patrick Canty
Patrick Canty has worked at Texas and California daily newspapers for more than 36 years, serving in various capacities ranging from reporter and editor to publisher. He currently serves as regional vice president & publisher of the Odessa American in Odessa, TX.
Canty has and continues to serve on boards for various local non-profit groups, including the Education Foundation of Odessa, Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale, Basin Public Broadcasting Inc., Samaritan Counseling Center, and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin Development Board. He is also a past president of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and currently serves as chairman of the chamber’s Education Committee.
He is past president of the Texas Press Association and the Texas Daily Newspaper Association, which awarded him the 2010 Frank W. Mayborn Award for Community Leadership. He is also a past unit president of the California Newspaper Publishers Association. Canty currently serves on the Texas Secretary of State’s Elections Advisory Committee.
A native San Antonian, Canty graduated with highest honors in 1982 from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he studied photography and journalism. He has also participated in advanced executive programs at the American Press Institute, the Stanford Business School, and Northwestern University’s Media Management Center.
He is married to Julie Canty, a dyslexia specialist for the Ector County Independent School District, and they are the proud parents of son Sam.
Ashley Colquitt
Ashley Colquitt, Corporate Affairs Representative for Diamondback Energy, is a dedicated advocate for education and community development. With 16 years of experience spanning roles as a teacher, campus administrator, and district administrator, Ashley has had a positive influence on the educational landscape of Midland, Texas. Her extensive background in education has equipped her with a unique perspective on fostering partnerships between schools and the corporate sector.
While being a wife and mother, she has held a commitment to community and her work is evident in her proactive efforts to improve educational opportunities for students. She has been instrumental in implementing cutting-edge educational programs, enhancing teacher development initiatives, and building strong partnerships between schools and local businesses.
Ashley Colquitt’s work exemplifies the transformative potential of corporate partnerships to have a significant impact on education. Her leadership and vision continue to pave the way for a brighter future for students, educators, and the community at large.
Renee’ Henderson Earls
Renee’ Henderson Earls is a native Odessan, graduating from Permian High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Texas Tech University. Her professional career has included anchor and reporter for the Permian Basin’s KMID-TV for four years. She served as Executive Director of Communications of Medical Center Hospital for 14 years, overseeing advertising/marketing, customer service, and the Foundation. In 1999, Renee and her husband became the fifth owner of THE ODESSAN MAGAZINE, INC., the longest-running Community Magazine in Texas. They started Presto Publishing, which publishes company newsletters and non-profit publications. In 2016, she turned her love for Odessa and her desire to improve the community into the perfect job. She was named President/CEO of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce after volunteering on their Board for over a decade.
Renee is passionate about her community, volunteering and helping to make a difference, and giving back to her hometown. She has served as President of numerous boards, including the Odessa College Foundation, ECISD Education Foundation, Medical Center Health System Foundation Board, United Way, and Junior League of Odessa. Renee also serves as a Trustee and Elder at Connection Christian Church, formerly known as First Christian Church.
In her free time, Renee’ enjoys watching college sports and following politics. Renee is married to Rich, and together, they have three children and two grandchildren. Her motto for a successful life: “Whatever thy hand finds to do; Do it with all thy might.”
Christine Gentry Foreman
Christine Gentry Foreman is a native Midlander. She attended Midland ISD schools, Midland College, and Texas A&M University. After working as a Registered Nurse for over ten years, Christine decided to pursue her passion for the community as a self-professed professional volunteer and community advocate. Using her Girl Scout and Junior League training, she has served on multiple committees, boards, foundations, and PTA’s. Over the past several years, Christine has worked tirelessly advocating for improved opportunities, resources, and academics for all public-school students.
Christine is married to Kevin, a financial advisor, and they have three children: Gentry, Addy, and Camden. They attend Stonegate Fellowship in Midland, and their favorite vacation destination is the beach in Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her kids participate in sports (volleyball, swimming, and tennis), working out, and walking with friends. Finally, her favorite life goal is one she learned as a Girl Scout; always leave a place better than you found it.
Adrian Vega ED.D
Dr. Adrian Vega is the Midland College Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Before his transition to VP for Institutional Advancement, Dr. Vega served as the Executive Director of the Education Partnership for 7 years, helping shape the organization into what it is today. Dr. Vega served in various school districts across the state of Texas and Arizona for 20 years. Dr. Vega began his career in the Dallas Independent School District as a bilingual teacher, elementary school assistant principal, instructional coach, and professional developer. Dr. Vega also served as a middle school principal in the Tyler Independent School District, where he brought Project Based Learning and Project Lead the Way to Boulter Middle School. While serving in the Ector County ISD, Dr. Vega was the founding principal of New Tech Odessa High School, an all-academic, college-prep, project-based learning high school. After serving in ECISD, Dr. Vega became the Deputy Superintendent for the Tucson Unified School District in Tucson, Arizona. Returning to Texas, Dr. Vega served as the Superintendent of Schools of the San Benito CISD in San Benito, Texas. Dr. Vega has been married to Kathryn Vega since 1999. He and his wife are the proud parents of their son Avery, a recent graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business, and their daughter Della, an education major at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Brian Stubbs
Brian Stubbs was born and raised in Southeastern New Mexico. After graduating from high school, he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He followed his dream of working on mechanical systems with a career with Cummins Inc. and a start-up company spanning 13 years.
With an opportunity to move back to the Southwest, Brian worked for Air Compressor Solutions, Inc. starting in 2015. He worked for ACS for about two years when he was given the opportunity to purchase the company in 2017 and has been the President of Air Compressor Solutions, Inc. since.
Brian pursues his passion for helping bring education to everyone by serving on a few boards in the Permian Basin, including Communities in Schools of the Permian Basin, Educate Midland, REACH School Board, and most recently, with the Partnership. He is actively involved in his two son’s activities, including church, Boy Scouts, swimming, and soccer.
